It's not hard to figure out what the Church of Christ believes. Just look at what the church you read about in the New Testament teaches and practices. That's us.
When the Gospel was taught in the first century it made Christians, nothing more and nothing less. (Acts 11:26) When we take that same Gospel, the seed, the word of God, (Luke 8:11) and we plant it today, we get Christians, nothing more and nothing less. We get no hyphenated denominations that weren't created until centuries later. We get no man-made organization named after someone other than Christ. We get Christians.
Those Christians are put into a church. Which church? The Lord adds the saved to His church. (Acts 2:47) Jesus said He was going to build His church. (Matthew 16:18) Whose church are the saved added to? The Lord's church. The Lord said He was going to build His church. It's His church. It's Christ's church. It's the Church of Christ.
So who is the West Point Road Church of Christ? Merely a group of people who have obeyed the same Gospel taught in the first century and have become Christians. God added us to His church. We assemble as His church and follow the same teachings and practices as those Christians who were the first Christians. Whether black, white, rich, poor, or whatever, we are children together in Christ, and we meet together at the West Point Road Church of Christ building. (Galatians 3:26-28)
